I started to speak
Of how we touch somewhere

In that veiled but palpable Essence

Beyond the screen of mind,

The screen of mind…

But words don’t go there,

Don’t go there

I was trying to say

That we are all the same

That our “problems” are not different

And that only one thing ever happens,

Ever happens…

But words don’t go there,

Don’t go there.

I opened my mouth to exclaim

The communion of souls,

The return to the Whole,

Life everlasting!

But words don’t go there,

Don’t go there.

I started to describe

The painter of all this

Who is in the picture

And sees it too

And sees it too.

But words…

Don’t go there.
